Heroes: Sigurd, Vladimir, Malik, Rowena, Storm
Year 644 MR (3rd quarter)
Sigurd passes control of the Jotunulf Royal Coster to Malik, trusting the khinasi will better handle trade in the kingdom. Rowena sends spies to Dhoesone, to better plan the possibility of an invasion.
Her spies report that those provinces not conquered by the elves are still under the control of the Church of Haelyn, but several guilders seems to have interests in the land. The rightful heir, the wizard Daeric Dhoesone, is at large, hiding from the Inquisition.
Malik receives a visit from a doppleganger posing as Lord Thalion. The khinasi assassin falls into the trap of the aberration, who is helped by several undead shadows and the Talon assassin that Malik himself spared a few months back.When Malik refuses to reveal the location of the Enlightened regalias and of the Imperial scroll, Daeric cuts his throat, while the doppleganger, in the guise of Malik, infiltrates the castle at Angarr and steals the precious items. Then his shadows proceed in slaughtering all those present in the fortress.
But thanks to his blood abilities, Malik is not dead! He awakes a day after, and eventually returns home, only to find tragedy awaiting him. In the great hall, he finds a gruesome image of a raven, painted in the blood of his servants.
The White Witch begins to spread her influence in the Giantdowns and Jentilak, by creating new temples.
Year 644 MR (4th quarter)
Storm travels to Dhoesone, where he meets with the Guildmaster of the Stjordvik Traders, a man interested only in his own profit. Still, Storm manages to reach an agreement, and it seems an alliance supporitng King Sigyurd claim in Dhoesone is indeed possible.
The White Witch intrusion does not sit well with Queen Rowena, who send her armies to destroy the temples of the White Witch. At the northern border, troops from the White Hand start to gather, proviking an equal reaction fro the Heroes, with Vladimir moving his own troops. A war seems inevitable. The White Withc sends envoy to Sigurd, to avoid war, and King Sigurd makes clear to his jarl than no war must start.
But Vladimir, fierce cleric of the god of war, has had enough of the icy priestesses of Karesha. He crosses the border with a thousand man, and sends the defending armies of the White Witch running. While they regroup, he pillages the province, and then retreats back to Jentilak.
