Year 640 MR - Summer

The Jarls of the Giantdowns arrive in Lemnjohen for the yearly meeting with the King. The Heroes have the opportunity to recount what they know about the Empire and the White Witch. Tensions run high during the feast, but eventually a decision is made: the Heroes will lead an army to conquer the Blood Skull Barony, thus denying an important ally to the White Witch, while at the same time expanding the domain of the King.

Niobhe also learns that her father has plans to marry her to Ansen Tieghan, son of Lord Regall, while Trevan deepens his bond with princess Rowena, and accepts to tutor her in her arcane studies.

Together with Huralla, the Heroes plan the invasion of the Blood Skull Barony: attacking the province of Chur, ruled by a necromancer known as Darkon, seems risky, and they decide to travel to Dhoesone to ask permission to transit through that realm and avoid Chur. The Heroes are welcomed by baronees Fhiele: she's also of mixed elven blood, and has not fully enforced the recent edicts of the Empire.

Unfortunately, an inquisitor of the One True Church is also present at the castle...
